A Smooth Dude From Mr Sartorial

I love this look, the orange jets to the suit and the lemon polka dot pocket square. This guy is the bomb.

Berluti Keep To Their Word

If any of you saw a post of mine around late May I explained that I took an old pair of Berluti's in for repair and true to their word they agreed to repair, polish and restore them and post them back. Here is the result. A change of colour and they are good as new

Feedback Required For New Exclusive LNP Swatch

My new swatch has arrived from Como - it's my first argyle print for LNP. I am concerned that it is not quite right and would love some feedback.

Do you think?

  1. It has enough lustre?
  2. The silver diamonds are not silver enough?
  3. The black is not black enough?

More from Mr. Sartorial

This look is killing it. I love how what used to be comes right back around 20 years later. I’m such a huge fan of prep style and I’ve always wanted a tennis sweater like this but I’ve never been able to find one that is exactly what I’m looking for. There’s always something off. Getting dangerous close to just starting my own label and making the stuff I want to. Source: www.mrsartorial.com

Charles Nakhle - Sydney Shirt Maker

There is a shirt maker that comes highly recommended. His name is Charles Nakhle. I just spoke to him. He is Lebanese born, has been doing shirts for 25 years, trained in Lebanon, Sydney and New Zealand.

His price is $140AUD BYO fabric or 235AUD with his base fabrics. He requires a few fittings for the first shirt.

Bespoke Tailoring In Sydney - Advice From The Great Sator

Quoted from Sator

"If it is a truly classy bespoke suit you are after I would like to put my vote in for Adamo Marrone in Leichhardt. He does a beautifully constructed and stylistically eloquent fully hand-made suit that is really a work of art for prices that are less than a Brioni ready to wear. He will even do a fully hand-made bespoke super 220's suit to the tune of about $10000 AUD.

As for a genuine top class bespoke shirt then make sure you check out Charles Nahkle in Parramatta. Even if this seems too far out west for you I still strongly recommend a special visit just to meet Charles even if it is to just look through his swatches. He always stocks beautiful material. There is even one guy that comes from Italy just to order shirts from him. His prices are amazingly reasonable too. You might pay three times as much if you brought the same quality shirt on Jermyn St."
