Repps Silk Under The Magnifying Glass

Repps silk, which was used to create the 'Dieu' bow, is made by running one colour of thread across the weft continuously for a number of runs before switching to a different colour of thread. The block of colours therefore appear very similarly to the straight solid colours of a flag which is why Repps silk is very popular for sporting teams, clubs and community uniforms.
